Below are a few of the things that are being said about us!

To everyone:
I finally have a moment to send a personal email to Golden Autumn to tell you how appreciated and wonderful you all are. (I believe my sister Martha sent a note as well)
The caring and love mom received during her short time living there was beyond our expectations.
After some ups and downs for mom due to health issues, mandated COVID restrictions, a few hospital stays, two rehabs and three residential moves — before finding Golden Autumn — mom was extremely unhappy, very confused and frustrated. Martha and I feared there was a chance that mom could have been asked to leave for being “a difficult resident” and our fingers were crossed that she remain on her best behavior so staff would have the opportunity to see the real, fun, and kind woman who existed inside of her. In time, and by your own words, I believe you all truly did get to see and know that loving woman!
She was so happy to call Golden Autumn “her home” and cared about everyone there. She found joy with people she came in contact with, and I’m sure she was vocal enough to express that joy and love in her own special ways!
Your support, constant care and love is what gave me strength to know that when I would go out the door, I was leaving her in good hands. I can’t express my gratitude enough.
At the end it meant so much to me to be supported by your experience, education, and training to help me handle the frightening and heartbreaking events I tried my best to awkwardly deal with during the last week of her life.
Thank you, thank you, thank you…Dominika, Veronica, Jamar, Jude, Laura, the other volunteers whose faces I know but names I can’t remember right now, and the other residents. You are all very special to me and I already miss you.
Love, Cindy
